Marshall S. Gobuty
Founder & President

Mr. Gobuty is nationally recognized as a pioneer in the green building industry. In 2015, he broke the sustainability barrier with Mirabella, an active adult community of 160 sustainable homes located in Bradenton, Florida. The community is one of the first to achieve LEED Platinum certification — the U.S. Green Building Council’s highest mark of sustainability — on a production scale. The USGBC named Mr. Gobuty "Power Builder of the Year" for four years in a row from 2016 to 2019, and was awarded the 2019 “LEED Visionary of the Year,” in recognition of his award-winning, eco-friendly design and construction. Gobuty is an experienced entrepreneur with past ventures in fashion design and in the garment industry. Starting with a small apparel business in Canada, he quickly transformed the company into an international enterprise. His experience included becoming one of the first ever private labels for a large, well-known retailer. His ventures and experience eventually grew into other areas, where his company LagoInvest, had 4,500 apartment units under management, mostly with a focus in Berlin, Germany. Later shifting towards hospitality, Gobuty began supplying hotels across the United States with furnishings—giving him a network of firms and individuals across the globe to begin redefining sustainable housing.

Dahntay Jones
Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Dahntay is a fierce advocate for the creation of affordable and workforce housing in Florida, California, and nationwide. Joining Pearl Homes’ management team as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Dahntay brings the company a tremendous depth of experience in embracing and fostering key business relationships. Dahntay, a former NBA basketball player— winning a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016–capitalized on his off-the-court opportunities in each of his home cities. He created the Dahntay Jones Foundation, which assists in building computer labs for kids across the country. As a California resident, Dahntay strives to bring Pearl Homes’ vision for a sustainable future to his home state. 

Gary Carmack
Energy Development Officer

Gary is a 30-year veteran of energy management and development for innovative companies and projects. He currently works with Pearl Homes as the Energy Development Officer focused on designing and implementing climate positive home design. His career has been focused on developing and implementing sustainable building modeling and subsequent design along with implementing, monitoring, measuring and assessing water, energy, HVAC, and indoor air quality for residential and commercial buildings. Gary is a Certified RESNET Energy Rater and a Certified Energy Manager–CEM, a Certified Commercial Energy Rater.

Meg Carson
EMCY Interior Design

Meg planted her roots in the Sarasota/Bradenton area in 2011 after years at an Orlando boutique interior design firm where she focused on commercial, hospitality and high-end residential design. She found after working for a Sarasota custom home builder, the residential design was her sweet spot. Armed with an Interior Design Degree from Florida State University, State of Florida licensure and a National Council for Interior Design Qualification license, Meg started her own interior design firm, Emcy Interior Design, after she found herself in high demand from prior clients and repeated referrals.

Monique Viehman
Creative Director

Monique has been the creative director for marketing and architectural matters for Pearl Homes since 2015. She works in collaboration with Pearl Homes as the founder of DesignMarket. She has a background in creative design, architecture and marketing, and 14 years of extensive experience in branding, brand architecture and working with international clients.
