The First LEED Certified, Net-Zero, Home in the World.

Constructed and designed in a research center in Manatee County, The Pearl Concept Home prototype is the first single-family home in the world to receive the LEED Zero Certification.

With the developmental help of the Florida Solar Energy Center at UCF, the concept home provided the foundation for four of Pearl Homes’ communities now in development in Manatee County.

The PEARL Concept Home is a two-bed one-bath home, and measures 540 square feet. The home was created using all sustainable materials including steel, aluminum, timber, precast-concrete and carbon fiber structure.

The home, which contains 16 KW of back-up power, has the ability to be on its own power grid thanks to its solar panels and sonnenBatterie solar energy storage system.

The PEARL Concept Home contains technologies including Google Home Smart Home Technology, rooftop solar arrays paired with a sonnen intelligent residential energy management system, Energy Star Appliances, WaterSense high-efficiency fixtures, and other designer interior furnishings.
