The Metropolitan, “The MET,” is a workforce housing centered community in Downtown Bradenton, created by a partnership between Pearl Homes, Barclay Group, and Framework Group. Awarded to The MET Team’s through a competitive bidding process in response to a request for proposals by the City of Bradenton’s Community Redevelopment Authority, The MET is part of the team’s vision to create a new urbanist, workforce community geared towards sustainable, modern living.

The MET will consist of 200 units of studios, one- and two-bedroom units located on 3.3 acres of land along 14th Street West. A vibrant community centered around affordable apartments, providing people with the opportunity to live close to work, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The community will display human-scale design focused on creative and flexible use of space that caters to residents’ needs and promotes healthy living.

The MET will complement the economic development and revitalization of the Downtown area, serving as a “gateway” to nearby Village of the Arts, and with access to nearby LECOM Park, Motorworks Brewing Company, Downtown Bradenton Bus Station, and the Bradenton Riverwalk. All of the apartments in The MET will feature the latest, unparalleled and modern features and amenities that deliver a preeminent living experience close to Downtown Bradenton, but at an affordable price. As with all projects, The MET Team will pursue LEED certifications and the community will utilize solar panels and on-site battery storage technology. The Met will deliver its first units mid- 2023.
